1. Installation
(1) The horizontal explosion-proof electric heater is installed horizontally, and the outlet should be vertically upward, and the straight pipe section above 0.3 meters is required before the import and after the export, and the by-pass pipeline is installed. To meet the needs of electric heater inspection work and seasonal operation.
(2) Before the installation of the electric heater, the insulation resistance between the main terminal and the shell should be tested with a 500V gauge, and the insulation resistance of the ship's electric heater should be ≥1.5MΩ, and the insulation resistance of the ship's electric heater should be ≥10MΩ, and the body and components should be checked for defects.
(3) The control cabinet produced by the factory is non-explosion-proof equipment. It should be installed outside the explosion-proof zone (safe area). When installing, it should be comprehensively checked and correctly connected.
(4) The electrical wiring must meet the explosion-proof requirements, and the cable must be copper core wire and connected with the wiring nose.
(5) The electric heater is equipped with a special grounding bolt, the user should reliably connect the grounding wire to the bolt, the grounding wire should be more than 4mm2 multi-strand copper wire, the grounding resistance should not be greater than 4Ω.
2. Debugging
(1) Before trial operation, the system should be checked again to check whether the power supply voltage is consistent with the nameplate.
(2) In accordance with the temperature regulator operating instructions. Reasonable setting of temperature values according to process requirements.
(3) The overheat protector of the electric heater has been set according to the explosion-proof temperature. No need to adjust.
(4) During trial operation, first open the pipeline valve, close the bypass valve, exhaust the air in the heater, and the electric heater can be started only after the medium is full. Note: Dry burning of electric heater is absolutely prohibited!
(5) The equipment shall be operated correctly according to the operation instructions of the drawings and documents delivered with the equipment and record the voltage, current, temperature and other relevant data during operation, and the formal operation can be arranged after 24 hours of trial operation without abnormal conditions.
