Working principle

How pipeline heaters worka

When air is compressed, the distance between the air molecules becomes smaller, resulting in an increase in the average kinetic energy of the molecules, which generates heat. This heat is called the heat of compression. Compressed air will produce a certain temperature during the production process, but this temperature may not reach the rated temperature required by users.

In order to reach the desired temperature and keep it constant, the compressed air needs to be reheated using a heating device. The heater converts electrical energy into heat energy through an electric heating element, heating the fluid medium (such as compressed air) and raising its temperature.

The heater is equipped with an electric heating element, and when the compressed air flows through the heater, the temperature sensor at the outlet will test the temperature of the compressed air. If the temperature does not meet the requirements, the heating unit automatically starts to heat the compressed air through the electric heating element.

The heater uses a digital display of real-time temperature, and the temperature is adjusted by a potential regulator. The temperature measuring element and control module complete the measurement calculation and control loop to realize the control of the heating component. The measurement signal is sent to the control module for amplification and comparison and displayed on the display screen. At the same time, the analog quantity of 4~20mA can be output outwardly to realize remote external monitoring.
